香港政府は2020年6月8日、18歳以上の永住権保有者などを対象にした1万香港ドルの現金（定額給付金）給付の申請受け付けを6月21日から開始すると発表しました。新型コロナウイルス流行で落ち込んだ消費の回復などの目的で2020/21年予算に盛り込まれた措置で、7月8日から順次支給が始まります。申請方法は、銀行のウェブサイトから申し込む電子方式と書面方式の2種類あり、申請の期限は2021年12 月31日までとなります。
